Job OpeningsThrough an interagency agreement between the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Division of Immigration Health Services (DIHS) provides healthcare to undocumented migrants in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) residing in Service Processing Centers (SPC) and Contract Detention Facilities (CDF). The DIHS takes pride in its direct role in the Agency's missions of protecting America by providing healthcare and healthcare services to undocumented migrants in support of immigration law enforcement. DIHS serves as the primary focus for the planning, management, policy formation, program coordination, direction, and liaison for all health matters pertaining to 25,000 undocumented migrants in the custody of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security. The Division supports this mission by providing or arranging cost-effective health service for the delivery of direct primary health care at 14 ICE facilities or at other locations throughout the nation where ICE migrants are being detained.
